Total New Home sales: 2,681 up +36% over last July
High Rise New Home sales: 1,490 up +20% over last July
Low Rise New Home sales: 1,191 up +64% over last July
So again, high rise sales outperformed low rise, representing 56% of all new home sales in July 2011. This brings the market share of high rise new homes to 60% for the year so far.

Now comparing just the month of July over the past 12 years we see that July this year was the third lowest for low rise sales of the past 12 and the third highest for high rise sales.
